So I didn’t celebrate Christmas and I think New Year’s is over-rated, but you know what? I’m not going to sit this one out. As self-important as it is, I shamelessly present my top fourteen posts for 2013. I chose these for different reasons; some because I love the work, others because they remind me […]
After every pgb event, I enjoy getting feedback from my guests, whether verbal or photographic. This, however, is a first: a written documentation of the evening by a guest who emailed me a couple of days ago with her thoughts, feelings and a dream about a murderer lurking behind a wall of tapestries. Here is […]
Well, the show has finally come and gone. I want to thank every single person who helped me with this show whether setting up (Yasmine, Alex, William, Ehsan), taking care of sales (Jana, Yousef, Yasmine), giving me moral support (my family, friends and fellow Intagrammers), getting desperately lost and giving up (Thuraya), wishing me good […]
I think this is the last of the PGB exhibition photos. I don’t think I saw anyone else taking photos. Time to move on. Thanks, Sharoofa, for taking part of this experience and sharing your photos. It was fun, wasn’t it.

For all the hardships endured in getting this exhibition up and ready, I would say that the opening went quite smoothly. And I think I might have even enjoyed it a little too much for a girl whose legs were about to collapse into a fleshy pile around her feet. But enough of my wobbly […]
I have finally completed this painting. It’s taken over a year (well, I did stop for months and months, but still, it was there gnawing at me, simmering on the back burner). I’m very happy with not just the way it has turned out, but the fact that I can include it in Tuesday’s show.
The date of my exhibition is creeping closer and my stomach just had to turn on me! In the past few days, my turbulent mind was stuck in a body that wouldn’t cooperate. I’ve finally mustered up enough strength, energy and appetite to post this final leg of my postcard series. For the next four […]
I have started the official countdown to my upcoming exhibition, PrettyGreenBullet|The Exhibition. Just typing this has aroused the dormant butterflies in my stomach. I’m not going to go into details of the exhibition because, although I have a general feel of what I want, I know my ideas and thoughts will shift, expand and possibly […]
