Months of work came to fruition last Wednesday with the opening of my latest show Until at the Contemporary Art Platform. It was a crazy night, a reunion of sorts. And what better way to share the event with those who couldn’t make it than with pictures. This first batch was taken by my very dear friend Reem Algharabali.

Listen to Amazed by Poe Finally my brother Mohammed’s long-awaited photos from Secretary opening night. I love that he shoots in black and white, and when he shoots in color it’s always so vibrant. I can’t thank him enough for always being so supportive. Big hug.

As this drawing came to completion with the woman in red ink, I was reminded immediately of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, hence the title. It has that quality of good and evil, soft and hard. Although one thing I can never remember is which of the two was the monster.
