the pattern was so painful i resorted to wearing my daughter’s 3D glasses, thanks to my sister’s suggestion

by sunday evening i had her face more or less complete

this is how i left her sunday night

monday morning i had housework to do so i left her for a few hours. it was difficult but i managed to switch her off

black and white. work resumed monday night

i dedicated tuesday morning to her. and tuesday night

i wish i had a larger space to paint and explore

i enjoyed working on her skirt

i paint by numbers

one special patch by yousef. every now and then i let a loved one leave their mark on my work

when life creeps its way into my paintings

this morning i completed her. we are ready to travel

she got baby k’s seal of approval. he really loved the colors and even attempted to pick up one of the painted polyhedra

later today i climbed to the roof so my sister would photograph her, but it was windy and impossible to keep her still. and she’s mighty heavy

so this was plan b. she enjoyed dipping her feet in my parents’ pool
