new painting } the dot

This painting has been mostly complete for weeks. I say mostly because I wasn’t sure it was done. She’s always looking at things around the house. Or so it seemed like to me. There was a period missing at the end of this sentence. So I added a dot. And it made perfect sense.
What is it that fascinates her about the dot? Is it a dot or a blot? Either way I gather the impression she’s a strong woman, she can deal with it.
It’s a dot. It’s an object of focus for her, she’s not looking at nothing any more.
