How’s this for a coincidence. The number 76 is a milestone for me as it was the first time I noticed what year it was (I was six at the time. Is that too old to learn about dates?). I became so conscious of it because I saw it everywhere, this magical number 76. The one that made me finally ask my mom about its significance was my brother’s blue and green socks with 76 on the sides. Anyway, how is this a coincidence? Because I’ve been listening to Gary Numan all morning (and over the past couple of days). And Gary Numan is a milestone in my love for music. He was the first singer I ever fell in love with. Way before David Bowie. I was nine years old. Ok, there have been greater coincidences in history, but…here’s Gary Numan:
