rushing back to pick up my wallet. i was in the car when i noticed my wallet was missing. of course i panicked. i called the restaurant and thankfully the guy i spoke to said that it was found but the lady who found it insisted she give it back to me personally. he gave me her number, i called her and it was settled. after i saw her (and gave her a huge bear hug) i wished her luck with her daughter’s missing wallet. when reem and i left for cap, i got a call from the lady who said that they’d found their wallet. happy ending and a fantastic feeling of camaraderie! *

a lot more relaxed, we broke the deja vu feeling of walking back to the car a second time within twenty minutes by taking a footsie

george on a stamp and george in a communist propaganda era graphic style poster. i loved this exhibition because it has a time-capsule sort of quality. it’s like a 3D album of a time gone by, both an intimate and public look at a slice of this fictional candidate’s political life
