I think these five tell a story with a beginning, middle and end.

  1. Miss,
I’m happy you commented today. Candidly, I’d given up talking to you anymore. I wondered why you stopped talking to me..well, kind of talking. It wasn’t much of a friendship, just a comment here and there. I wouldn’t mind talking more if you’d be so inclined. I guess though (3 Three) other gentlemen could be a handful. Just for the record, I shouldn’t be counted as number four…I’m just a man who’d like to know if you ever received my handwritten letter? If not…I’ll chalk it up to poor postal customer service. Have a nice evening. I so very much love your drawings and photos.

    • I prefer Ms. I’m new-fashioned like that.

I haven’t received your letter yet (last I checked was last week). Surely you must understand how you are at an advantage here. You know my name, you know what I look like and you know more or less what is going on in my life. I know nothing about you. And over the years I’ve learned to not trust. I have many questions about you, for you. And how on earth you get so many comments on your blog, and all by women (although I must admit your writing is quite beguiling).

Forgive me for being a little wary.

      And thank you.
