ye olde work shoppe in doha
.
preparing pages for the workshop. i’d never done a workshop before, whether given or taken. so i was nervous
all prepped up. i love clean tabletops
well under way
i was really impressed with a lot of the work created by everyone. here, retired architect roman and his little surprises. that’s the thing about using carbon paper, the outcome is always unexpected
two of roman’s duplicates
dany and his work. again, it was a pleasure for me to see what these guys came up with
viewing the work
i’m glad that people started getting comfortable with the whole affair. and when i say ‘people’ i think i mean ‘me’
the second part of the workshop i wanted everyone to create their versions of my ‘girls explore’ series
here’s dany’s crazy chick hanging from the projector. she may still be hanging there
roman’s people
diego’s tiny drawing. medusa gets her head guillotined
noorbanu shelters her winged girl
a quaint lady with her two cats looks out the window at diego’s beheading ceremony. i never discourage the grotesque
grace taking photos

Congratulations, Ghadah! Looks like a fun workshop, and very productive. Love, love, love Roman’s people.
Thank you!
Yes, Roman was a star student for sure! He’s a retired architect who wants to explore his artistic side.
