pickled eves

As you know I get these surges of playfulness which grip me for a few hours and result in something that ultimately gets posted here. This time it was different, because my whimsy was a catalyst for something that would come after. It inspired my son, and consequently me, to play with some water and food coloring. I’ll publish that post later on today.

this photo was taken by my son khaled, who is always exceeding my expectations, which is what i think bothers me the most. when it comes to my ‘art’ i am such a control freak and tend to have little faith in anyone else’s approach
