kiss & cut } the exhibition } my photos
These are some photos I took last night. Apart from my feet being torn apart by killer heels, I think the night went well. It’s always good to interact with people who have just met your work. Traditionally, I post my brother Mohammed’s photos, but unfortunately his camera failed him yesterday. He did take some shots but will take some more soon, fingers crossed. Meanwhile, here’s a somewhat perfunctory glimpse of the exhibition.
The exhibition runs from March 3-March 14. The gallery is closed on weekends.

a kim kardashian moment. why not? i had my full swagger on. that slight grimace on my face was brought on by what was happening to my feet

citizen. these two pieces were done at the height of my devastation (one of the heights, the last two and a half months have been a series of highs and lows). i had one song on repeat, over and over and over again. fortunately i was home alone when i did these, otherwise i imagine my kids would have thrown me out and broken my computer. the song is ‘citizen’ by broken bells

lastly, the lady with the pink hair. this is haya alissa, who, along with ibrahim, ran the show. big hug, h
Mabrouk! The show looks amazing! I wish I could have been there. Hope you had fun despite the killer heels. Nadia x
Thanks, Nadia! I wish you were there too! It was, however, a totally different atmosphere than my PrettyGreenBullet exhibition! A little more docile :)
Congratulations! It looks like a fantastic show!
