i also discovered-and was very happy with the fact-that the carbon black shows through the red, giving it an uneven feel, which i welcome

  1. Your sad lady is beautiful. Isn’t it funny how the paintings you struggle with can turn out to be the ones you are most pleased with? I’m also delighted by the “dialogue” between the figures in your large journals.
