new painting|drinks & cigarettes
This is a commissioned work I started two days ago and finished this morning. Weeks ago, the request was simple: to paint a picture influenced by Sadu weaving. As simple as my goal was, I found myself floundering under the weight of the original painting I started for the job. It just wasn’t working out for me. I decided to go with the flow of where that one was taking me and start afresh with what was to become this one: Drinks & Cigarettes. Thank you, L, for giving me the opportunity and the challenge!
Gorgeous! One naughty girl, and another – I can’t decide whether she’s trying to stay good or simply DYING to be bad. I hope it’s the latter!
Great stuff
love it Ghadah!
i love it when you relate your paintings to social behavior and i love it when you add space dimensions!!
by the way which camera did you use it looks different than your old lens!
I know! It’s the same camera, my beloved G12, but the lighting and location were ideal! Now I know where to set my paintings for good photos.
