  1. Hmmm. Yes. A very interesting twist on the whole ‘ball-and-chain’ motif. Usually it is the ball that weighs down the subject – but I notice in this case it is the subject that weighs down the ball. The ball attempts to be free yet could be perceived as being shackled by the subject. On this occasion the subject will only survive if the attachment to the ball is maintained. You have switched the ball from being an inhibitor to being a saviour. Interesting. Very interesting.
