Although cooling, the skirt must be one of the most impractical items of clothing ever. I love to wear skirts, they’re so flowy and feminine, sexy and sweet. But very impractical.

And if you think skirts are impractical, you should try wearing them in my part of the world, where we have long, cold, snowy winters, but women still routinely go out in skirts and thin tights (me included). O the suffering we dames do in service to beauty.
they really are one of the best things in the world. especially with thin tights in the winter! *sigh* i love being a girl…
